What £26 includes
There is no fuel surcharge, no peak day, no charge for a muddy dog and no extra for a longer drive. If a day costs us more than usual, that is our problem rather than yours.
Change of plan?
This table is rendered from the same settings the software uses, so what it says and what the site does are the same thing. Refunds are started automatically, not when somebody gets round to it.

“Cancelled” and “refunded” are different words and your account shows both, with the date the refund was started. A refund goes back to the card you paid with and normally takes a few working days to appear.
Booking online is a distance contract, so you also have the statutory fourteen-day cancellation right. Our own policy is more generous than that in every branch, and the model cancellation form is on the terms page if you would rather use it.
One fair-use line, said plainly rather than buried: repeated late cancellations may mean we can no longer hold a standing seat for you. We will talk to you before doing anything about it.
Every week, the same seat
It is the thing most regulars want and the thing every competitor makes clumsy. Four sentences, and then it is just yours to run.
The price is the same £26. A reserved seat and self-service flexibility are the benefit; we are not going to pretend a discount is one as well.
You get an email with a link that fixes that specific payment — not a generic payment page that creates a payment attached to nothing. If your bank wants you to confirm it, the link takes you to the confirmation rather than retrying the same charge and failing again.
Nothing is lost until 18:00 the evening before, which is exactly the same deadline everybody else has. Plan customers never get worse terms than anyone else.
The small print, in large print
Changing the fare affects new bookings only. A booking you have already made keeps the price you paid, and a weekly plan gets told before the change reaches it.
Not yet, anyway. Everything you buy is one dated adventure, so there is nothing sitting in an account waiting to expire and nothing to argue about if you stop.
Card payments go through Stripe's own hosted checkout, so we never see or store your card number. We switch off Stripe's separate receipt email so you get one email rather than two, and every payment is listed in your account.
Every dog on the bus has been met first, and that is the whole reason it works. It takes twenty minutes, it costs nothing, and then you can book any Tuesday or Thursday you like.
